About Dog Friendly Stays
We know how difficult it can be for pet owners to plan a holiday. Organising a sitter or paying for kennels isn’t just costly, it often means leaving a much-loved family member behind. At Caner Bach Lodge, we want to take that worry away — your dog is welcome to join you and enjoy the holiday too.
Dogs love exploring as much as we do, and with countryside walks right from the door, they’ll be in their element. From wide open commons to peaceful lanes, every day offers a new adventure for you both. Back at the lodge, you’ll find a cosy space where you can all relax together, plus a secure garden where your dog can safely enjoy the outdoors.
We’re so happy to welcome four-legged friends to Caner Bach Lodge. To make sure everyone has a safe and comfortable stay, here are just a few simple house rules for pups:
• Only good behaved no teething pups, non-aggressive dogs, please.
• Dogs need to be fully toilet-trained and free from incontinence issues.
• No dogs with kennel cough (past or present).
• Please don’t leave dogs alone in the cottage unless they’re in a crate.
• Keep paws off the beds and furniture unless covered..
• Bring along throws/towels for muddy paws.
• Clean up after your dog in the garden and grounds.
• All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
And don’t worry — the garden is secure, so your dog can enjoy the outdoors safely.
We understand that pets are part of the family, and we’re delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs to join you on your countryside escape at Caner Bach Lodge. Our small farm is a wonderful place for them to enjoy new sights, smells, and plenty of fresh air — but to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask you to follow our pet policy below.
